Situation: How safe is your school or place to work? You have been asked by your principal or boss to inspect the building, inside and outside, and check the risk to health and safety. Write your report, describing any possible dangers and suggesting improvements that should be made.
Introduction:
This report is concerned to realize what the risk to health and safety at our school is. All pupils were interviewed in order to find dangerous places both inside and outside the building.
Inside the building:
Almost half of the pupils (45%) are at the age of 7 to 9 and they are vigorous during breaks they usually spend inside the school. Because the floor on the first floor is very slippery, these children are in danger of harming themselves.
Outside the building:
What is the problem for all children is the fact that there are no traffic lights on the road that lead from the school to children's houses. Thus, they are afraid of leaving the building alone because of the fear of being run down.
Conclusion:
Given this, it can be concluded that the risk to health and safety of the children is far too high and the building should be somehow improved. Changes that should be made are:
- The terracotta on the first floor should be replaced by more safe one.
- The traffic lights should appear on the road nearby school.
