Czasu Future Perfect Continuous in the Past używamy, gdy mówimy o:
- Czynności, która miała trwać do określonego momentu w przyszłości przez konkretny okres czasu:
- They said that she would have been swimming for three hours by that time. (Mówili, że do tego czasu pływałaby już przez trzy godziny.)
- Mark said that he would have been running for four hours by the time we got home. (Mark mówił, że biegałby już przez trzy godziny do czasu jak wróciliśmy do domu.)
- I thought, my mum would have been sitting in her garden for an hour by the time it got dark. (Myślałam, że moja mama siedziałaby już przez trzy godziny w swoim ogrodzie, zanim się ściemniło.)
Budowa zdania twierdzącego w czasie Future Perfect Continuous in the Past
Podmiot + would have been + czasownik z końcówką -ing
- She hoped she would have been eating healthy for three weeks by then.
Zdania twierdzące w Future Perfect Continuous in the Past budujemy używając operatora would have been (would’ve been) oraz czasownika w trzeciej formie.
